In Gen 30:14-15
14: And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and
brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy
son's mandrakes.
15: And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and
wouldest thou take away my son'smandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie
with thee to night for thy son's mandrakes.
What the heck is a mandrakes? what is the passage trying to say? What medical condition
did Rachel have that needed a narcotic effect?
In the Ferrar Fenton bible the mandrakes is translated as love apples
the strong's concordance lists it as a container or aphrodisiac
Smiths Bible dictionary said its has power to excite voluptuousness, a narcotic
(anaesthetic), used in small quantities like opium, it excites the nerves and is a
stimulant

14: And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon,
Esau's wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
15: These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau;
duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
16: Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in

Duke Korah is listed under as an offspring of Eliphaz but in 36:14 Korah is listed as
coming from Aholibamah and duke Korah is listed twice in 36:16 and 36:18.
Who is this other Duke Korah?

Gen 48:11
8: And Israel beheld Joseph's sons, and said, Who are these?
9: And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this

10: Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them

Israel sees Josephs sons right before he dies after spending 17 years in Egypt (Gen 47:28
-28: And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years)
Why didn't he see them during his 17 years?

Was Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed on the first day of unleaven bread? Abraham gives
YHVH and angels bread but Lot gives the angles unleaven bread.

What were the commandments, statues and laws which YHVH was talking about? This was
before Moses and the 10 commandments so if you reference Malichi 3:6 it states that YHVH
doesnt change so that would indicate that YHVH passes the commandments, statues and laws
to Adam and Adam passes it down his lineage.

Num 3:39 states the total is 22,000 not 22,300. Why is there a 300 person

Was the reason why Aarons 2 sons died is because they touched the vessels and the alter
which was forbidden according to Num 18:3

Is this verse figurtive or literal? Does it speak of future space travel? or is it
just speaking about a distant land/country? Passages before were literal, same with
the passages after.

Dt 32:15-43 Moses talks about the fall of Israel and rebirth
Dt 32:26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance
of them to cease from among men
corners = afar (revised standard, american standard), distant land
(living bible)
This could only have been satisfied by either the babylonian or roman conquest of Israel
but more than likely the roman since the people which replaced Israel in Judea knew of the
Israelites when they came back from babylon. The 70AD roman sacking removed the
temple and the people from the land.
Dt 32:34-35 34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures? 35
To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the
day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon
them make haste.
Moses to Babylon is roughly 1000 years
Moses to 70AD is roughly 1700 years
One of the arguments that the prederist use is the at hand in revelation which they state
that they are bookends of revelation to show that all was to occur within one generation.
If at hand in the old testament was 1000/1700 years why would at hand have to be 40
years in the new testament?
2nd Maccabees
2:4. `The same document also describes how the prophet, warned by an oracle, gave orders

both Deutronomy and 2nd Maccabees have not been fulfilled yet.

First 30 years was good last 41 years of Joseph's life they were in bondageis this
why Joseph told offspring to carry his bones out of Egypt? Because they couldnt
leave?
